What is the chargeback process like?

  1. Customer initiates a chargeback.
  2. Merchants receive notification of chargeback from DusPay.
  3. DusPay deducts the chargeback amount from Merchant Account.
  4. Merchant need to provide the supporting documents to appeal against the chargeback to DusPay.
  5. DusPay sends the supporting documents to Acquiring bank/ Card Association for investigation.
  6. Upon the completion of dispute resolution/chargeback appeal which could take upto 120 days, Duspay will notify the merchant if the appeal has been granted in the favor of the merchant and will reimburse the chargeback amount to the merchant account.
